Eriksen Chevrolet sponsors the WQAD-TV 3 Degree Guarantee charitable donation program, which airs nightly on WQAD-TV/Channel 8. A selected local charity receives $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet for each day of the month the forecast temperature is within the three degree guarantee. Every night the Storm Track 8 team of meteorologists will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecast temperatures are compared to the actual temperature recorded by the National Weather Service.
